Nila and Jethro continue to play this "cat and mouse" game. There's not much to say without giving away too much, but their story always keeps me on the edge. The push and pull between the two is HOT.
One minute, I love Jethro and then next I can't stand him. He has such a hot and cold personality. But it does all boil down to what he is starting to see with his family. And ugh, his Father and brother, Daniel, need a good ass-kicking. The way Nila deals with the situation on hand is amazing. She is such a strong-willed woman, despite the situation she is in.
In this series, we get a little more info on the sister that is 'hidden' in the wings. I found her character intriguing and mysterious.
As always, this book keeps handing out plenty of twists and turns. And leaves you wanting the next book ASAP.
