Blog Tour Stop: Twisted (Tangled #2) by Emma Chase

There are two kinds of people in the world. The ones who look first, and the ones who leap. I’ve always been more of a looker. Cautious. A planner. That changed after I met Drew Evans. He was so persistent. So sure of himself – and of me.

But not all love stories end happily ever after. Did you think Drew and I were going to ride off into the sunset? Join the club. Now I have to make a choice, the most important of my life. Drew already made his –in fact, he tried to decide for the both of us. But you know that’s just not my style. So I came back to Greenville. Alone. Well, sort of alone....

What I've come to realize is that old habits die hard and sometimes you have to go back to where you began, before you can move ahead.

TWISTED picks up two years after Tangled’s end, and is told from Kate’s POV.

Kate. This girl had a sense of humor, just like Drew!

Twisted starts off with Kate telling us how her relationship with Drew is going after Tangled. And let's just say about 5% in, I was like "WHAT THE HECK? NO!!!!"

Without going into spoilers, let's just say there were plenty of D-R-A-M-A between Drew and Kate. You'd think these two would have the perfect life, but it was far from it. There were plenty of love, but with up and downs and a little surprise!

Between Kate and Drew, I can't decide who is more stubborn? Twisted was frustrating to read, because I just wanted these two to communicate--that would solve so many of the problems. But what is a book without angst, drama and heartbreak? And Twisted gave us plenty of that.

But don't fear Drew and Kate fans, these two (spoiler!) get their HEA! And the epilogue...was fantastic and made my heart melt!

I close my eyes and let his words wash over me. Drew has an amazing voice. Calm and soothing - but devilishly seductive at the same time. He totally could’ve gone into radio. I press another button.

And this time his tone is teasing. “Kaate, you’re late. . Tell Delores to pick out her own god damn shoes. You’ve got a boyfriend who’s sitting in a big, frothy Jacuzzi all by his lonesome. Come home, sweetheart. I’m here waiting for you.”

If only that was true today.

There’s more - some are quick and to the point, some are downright dirty. And I listen to every single one. He doesn’t say ‘I love you’ in any of them - but he doesn’t have to. I hear it in every word.

Every time he says my name.

ARC Review: Play (Stage Dive #2) by Kylie Scott

Mal Ericson, drummer for the world famous rock band Stage Dive, needs to clean up his image fast—at least for a little while. Having a good girl on his arm should do the job just fine. Mal doesn’t plan on this temporary fix becoming permanent, but he didn’t count on finding the one right girl.

Anne Rollins never thought she’d ever meet the rock god who plastered her teenage bedroom walls—especially not under these circumstances. Anne has money problems. Big ones. But being paid to play the pretend girlfriend to a wild life-of-the-party drummer couldn’t end well. No matter how hot he is. Or could it?

There is only one thing I want from Mal...I want him to call me "Pumpkin!" I thought I loved David in Lick, but I think I love Mal more.

"The man had hooker lips..."

Mal, the drummer of Stage Dive, he is absolutely sexy and sweet. But what I loved most about his character (and this entire book!) is his sense of humor. This book had me laughing at his comments!

Anne is also a fabulous heroine in this series. She is fun, feisty, but a doormat. But meeting Mal one night at a party, changed that. I loved their meeting. Again, Mal had me laughing throughout the scene. I'm pretty sure I would have "crazy eyes" if I stumbled upon my teen idol at a party.

The way Mal moved into Anne's life was awesome. Their story of having a "fake relationship" runs throughout the book. There is hot chemistry between the two that it made their "relationship" seem so real--or is it? Or just an act? Because they are pretty much using each other to get what they need, but you'll just have to read to find out, if these two find a HEA with each other.

 "The man kissed me stupid."

Play is such a fun read, with a bit of drama and angst!  And fans of David and Ev will be excited that they make their appearance too! Mal and Anne are steamy hot and I hope we get more of them in the next book, Lead! And of course more of David and Ev!

**AUTHOR NOTE - This is NOT a BDSM Romance**

add-to-goodreads-button31

1927208_222980111237944_948817681_nWe're thirteen girls, captive, slave to our master. A master we've never seen. Obedience will become all we know in our shallow existence. It is the only emotion we're permitted to feel. When we're bad, we're punished. When we're good, we're rewarded. Our scars run deep. Yet we survive, because we have to... because HE teaches us to. All of us are special, we feel it with everything we are. He has us for a reason, but it's a reason we don't know. We've never seen his face, but we know that something deeply broken lies beneath the darkness. With every touch, with every punishment, we know it. Then something changed. He showed me who he truly is. Now I want him. I'll go against everything I know to be with him.

A monster.

My monster.

Loving him is a sin, but a sinner I am. I won't stop until I see every part of him. Even the parts he keeps locked deep down inside.

I am Number Thirteen, and this is my story. No one said it was pretty, or right, but it's mine.

In the distance, I hear music playing, and I put all my energy into focusing on the sound. It’s elegant music, with a deep, soulful sound that only makes my heart ache more. I wish I could drift off right now, take myself to a happier place, only I don’t know if I’ve ever had a happier place. I feel his hands suddenly stop moving, and I realize I’ve managed to calm myself enough to make him believe he’s settled me.

He lifts me off his lap, and places me on wobbly feet.

I stand like that for a long moment, listening, waiting. Then I hear his husky voice break through the silence as he rasps something into my ear in a different language.

“Încredere în întuneric, frumusețea.” (Trust the darkness, Beauty.)

I don’t know what he says to me, but the sound is so masculine, his voice so captivating and smooth, it has me standing transfixed until the door swings open and a guard walks in. I catch only a brief glimpse of long, dark hair swishing around broad shoulders before he disappears into the darkness.
Who is he?

Oh come on! How could you not love this book? Take a hot, alpha-male, who does what he wants (and helps catch bad guys) and a sweet, funny, tenacious woman, and you'll  you have the perfect book! What can I say, I'm a huge, huge, huge Kristen Ashley fan and C.P. Smith did a brilliant job on writing this book that is similar (but not!! It's unique!!) and brought these characters to life.

Jack Gunnison is bossy and oh so protective of his woman and town! He's the town sheriff and trying to catch a serial killer. Jack is so busy with work, he never has time to settle down with a woman. He's on the go with his job and women can't seem to understand that. That's until Jennifer comes breezing in town. Jennifer Stewart, moves to Jack's small town in Colorado. She's a reporter, which means she is feisty and trying to get the scoop by using her charm. And boy, does she catch the eye of many men. Especially Jack! But he doesn't fall for any of Jennifer's antics.

There's a crazy killer out and has his eye on Jennifer. But don't fear, Jack is there to protect her! These two have hot chemistry and are perfect together. A Reason to Breathe is a great read--full of action, mystery and a whole-lotta steam!

Jack collapsed onto my chest but held himself up with one arm. His face in my neck, lips kissing and tasting, light nips at my ear as we both recovered from our release.

“Jesus, Baby, can’t remember when I came that hard.”

“I’m not complaining. You’ve got mad skills, Sheriff.” Rising up and looking down at me, he smiled and laughed as he moved from between my legs and then curled me up into his chest. We lay like that for a while as we recovered, then I tipped my head back and asked.

“You wanna stay the night? I’ll make pancakes in the morning.” Jack grinned, kissed my lips and answered.

“Considering I’ll still be buried deep in you when the sun comes up, yeah Babe, I’ll stay for breakfast.”

“What?”

“Not finished with you by a long shot that was just a warm up.”

”Wow.”

“You got that right.” Jack grinned; then his eyes went soft.

“Jesus, you’re somethin’ else.” I liked hearing that. So I told him.

“You’re not so bad yourself, Jack.” “I thought I was bossy?”

“You’re that as well.” “And bullheaded.”

“You heard that?”

“Heard the reckless and arrogant part too.” I giggled, and his eyes warmed. I could stare at his warm, rugged face all night, but decided I’d rather kiss him, so I did, and he rewarded me for my forward thinking with his body on me, in me and behind me the rest of the night.

Blog Tour Stop: Two Worlds Colliding (#1 Scorpio Stinger MC) by Jani Kay

All any woman ever wants, is to know that she’s worth fighting for. All any man ever wants, is to know that he can take care of his woman. Protect her, provide for her, look after her needs and desires. That’s enough. Right? WRONG. It matters where they come from. It matters who their family is. Especially when it’s from polar opposite worlds.

Opposites attract. Ryder and Jade are drawn to one another like magnets. The Princess and the Biker. They fall in lust—hard. But is it strong enough to lead to love when everything is stacked against them?

Will Jade follow her heart or her head? Ryder OR her family. Can Ryder forget his allegiance to his brothers and his club to have his Princess? Jade OR his family.

Is Jade worth fighting for?

What happens when Ryder and Jade’s two worlds collide? Is what they have strong enough to overcome the odds? Or will their worlds destroy one another and rip them apart.

Is the ultimate price too high?

Full length STANDALONE novel continuing Jade & Ryder's story in the Scorpions MC.

ON SALE FOR ONLY 99c

I love MC books; I can't see to get enough! And Two Worlds Colliding is another great read! Ryder and Jade literally come from two different worlds. And their world comes crashing together.

Ryder is a bad ass, has a dirty mouth, loyal and fiercely protective of the ones he loves, particularly his family--his MC family.

Jade comes from a pretentious family and is expected to live the "perfect" life. She does have a secret past that continues to haunt her and her brother. So because of this secret, she becomes judgmental of people--MCs in general. That is is until she meets Ryder. Ryder breaks that mold for her and becomes conflicted between what her head and heart says.

These two have a back and forth relationship. Both confused of what each family will think. It's not an easy road for these two, but for some reason it works and it's HOT. The chemistry between Ryder and Jade is undeniable hot and steamy.

Two Worlds Colliding is a great read, and can't wait to read more in this series.

Jani has been married for a long time to a special man, and her two children and their partners are the sunshine in her life. She is a voracious reader and would spend her last dollar on a book - always fascinated that for the mere price of a book, she can escape her world for a while and see through someone else's eyes.

Besides reading, her favorite 'thing' is traveling - she has traveled the world, learning about the ways people live and has come to the realization that no matter where we live, we all ultimately want the same things. Her hobby - Scrapbooking - keeps her up till way after midnight and her usual subjects are her family and her travels.

Ever since she can remember, Jani wanted to write stories about people, about their lives and loves. Relationships and Happiness - arguably the most difficult things to master in life and yet exactly what everyone ultimately desires (in her humble opinion).

5 AMAZING STARS

There is nothing that Colleen Hoover can't write, that I will not love. Maybe Someday is no exception. There is no maybe about this book--I LOVED this book.

Maybe Someday is so sweet. It made laugh, smile and also made my heart hurt. It's such a beautiful, heart-wrenching and heart-warming story.

Ridge Lawson, I more than loved his character. He is talented, loving and super sweet. Sydney, is also a great heroine in this book. She is strong, stood-up for herself and has a good heart. It was bound that these two connected. And let's just say I was quite surprised when these two finally meet face-to-face!

Despite their attraction and their love of music together; it's not a simple road towards happiness for them.  I can't and won't spoil this book for you, but what I can say is that Ridge and Sydney always do what's right--even though it seems to break their hearts. These two were destined to be together. So maybe someday...until then, you'll just have to read to find out if Sydney and Ridge find their someday.

Fans of of Hopeless and Losing Hope, OK, it doesn't matter what fan you are...Maybe Someday is a MUST READ! I can't even tell you how touching this story is and it will stay with you for a long time, as it will for me. I can't wait to re-read this again.
