And so they make a pact: he'll help her track down her blackmailer, and in return she'll help him seek answers to the mystery that's haunted him—one that not even his club brothers have been willing to discuss. But the more time they spend together, the more their feelings grow. And suddenly they're both walking the edge of discovering who they really are, what they want, and where they're going from here.

The law said I was a runaway.

I preferred the term survivor.

After being broken down and emotionally tortured for fifteen years, I made a choice to change the path that my life was on.

It left me alone, homeless and scared, but alive.

The streets were where I found my family. A group of kids like me who society had failed to protect.

We weren't teenagers anymore – we were a statistic, a nuisance, the scum on the bottom of the city’s shoe.

When he showed up that night, I never expected to feel the things I did.

He was honest and protective and he saw straight through the hardened exterior that I had created.

He made me want to fight for something better.

I could run, go back to the street and continue risking my life just to live.

But now, being offered something more, I wasn't sure if I could go back without at least a taste of what it was like.

We came from two completely different worlds, but they were about to collide. And I was about to learn that maybe the grass really wasn't that much greener on the other side.

Cover Reveal: Lost Lyrebird (Harbingers Of Chaos, #2) by Darby Briar

Lost Lyrebird cover

“What he doesn’t realize is the girl he remembers doesn’t exist anymore.”

Lily Goose calls her Little Bird. But the love of Lily’s life has no idea why the nickname describes her so perfectly. He doesn’t know who she really is, and that their first meeting wasn’t a happy twist of fate, but an elaborate plan that’s been years in the making. But then lies do what they always do. They pile up, like feathers in her hands, and one by one they all fall.

As Road Captain for the Harbingers of Chaos Motorcycle Club, Goose is an expert at spotting potential danger from miles away. He’s also a living and breathing lie detector. And yet…when a new little bird dances her way into his life, the vast threat she poses to his club slips right past his radar. He’s too distracted by the color of her lips, and her not so subtle curves, to see her for what she is. A little lyrebird. A ghost that’s haunted him for years. And ultimately, his downfall.

“She says she’s not the girl I remember. I’m not so sure.”-Goose

Blog Tour Stop: Challenged (Vipers Creed MC, #1) by Ryan Michele

Lust, love, and second chances.

Growing up in the fast-paced and rough life of a motorcycle club wasn’t easy. Cleaning up the mess his father had made of Vipers Creed meant sacrifice. Cade ‘Spook’ Baker had given up everything to bring the club life back to what it was supposed to be: a family.

The choices he made were not what he wanted, but they were necessary for the club as a whole.
Second chances rarely came to Spook, so when his Trixie walked boldly into his clubhouse, the decision was made. Trixie would once again be his, this time for good.

Trix Lamasters was raised by a master—a master con. All grown up, she made her life solid by making it about her club, Sirens. But one bad business decision brought her to her knees, forcing her to call on the one person she had sworn she would never trust again.

Pasts have a way of not staying there. Things that were buried deep have a way of finding themselves in the light of a new day. Could something that had once crashed and burned for Spook and Trixie find a way out of the wreckage? With the odds against them, can they find a way to overcome the challenges, or will it all blow up in their faces?

Spook
I woke to a very cold bed. My hand reached out, touching nothing. I listened, but I didn’t hear a sound. It surprised me. I usually slept lightly, never knowing when I needed to be on guard. Something about being in bed with her, having her cuddled up to me, had me sleeping like a fucking log.
Rolling out of bed, I grabbed my pants and shirt, throwing them on along with my cut, socks, and boots. I walked down the hall of the little ranch house.
“Trixie?” I called into the nothingness.
I looked through the house, but she was nowhere. The little minx jumped out on me.
A piece of paper on the table had a large scrawl on it.
Spook,
I had shit to do. Lock the bottom lock when you leave. Please don’t come back.
I chuckled. Woman had no fucking clue who she was dealing with. Oh, I’d be back … tonight or this afternoon. I hadn’t decided yet.
**
Trix
“You get anywhere with Cade?” Jett, my a ssistant asked as she plopped down in the chair in front of my desk.  She had a beauty that pulled everyone in and curves that made me insanely jealous. Her long, dark hair laid pencil straight, and her eyes were a blue that looked almost gray in different lights.
My stomach fell at her question, reminding me of last night. I couldn’t believe I fucking slept with him. Not just fucked him, but showered with him, fell asleep with him … woke up in his damn arms. Sneaky bastard.
I could still feel him between my legs. Hell, I even had phantom feelings of him inside of me. He’d had a lot of practice. I knew he had because I had heard all about it. And I wasn’t any better than one of those paid hookers.
Fucking moron. My reasons had sucked before. They meant shit now.
I wanted to pass off the night as being just another booty call, a way to fuck each other out of our systems, but both were a flat out lie. Last night was so much more than anything Taylor, or any of my other weak-ass booty calls, and I had ever been.
The rawness in his eyes captivated me. God, his eyes … I could see so much more in them last night. More than I’d ever thought I would see. But I was just fooling myself. I wouldn’t go back fifteen years to fall for the bad boy again, just to get my heart smashed all over again.
Mortification didn’t even cut it when it came to describing how I felt. Weak. Pathetic. I gave in, letting him have that power over me with his smooth talking and fantastic bed skills.  Plus, he had looked sexy as hell in his leather and jeans. To see him on a motorcycle, too, was just a recipe for disaster. And I had just spread my legs, begging for him to give it to me. Dammit.
Although I was dead serious in the note I left him this morning, it felt really odd to leave it for him in my own house. Nevertheless, I couldn’t stay and deal with the morning after shit. One look and I would have let him inside my body again. I would have let him take me over and over until I really couldn’t walk. Now that I knew how much he had grown, let alone changed in the bedroom, it would be more difficult than ever to say no to him.
I had to remember Cade crushed me. My first love left me to pick up the pieces of my torn heart. I couldn’t go back to the me from that time.
“He doesn’t know if Nanette is there.” I decided to leave out the whole him fucking my brains out bit. I wouldn’t open up that can of worms. I told Jett all about Cade one night after way too many shots of tequila. Regardless, the less people who knew about the now, the better.

3.5 Stars
There's something about this author that creates some serious bad ass heroine and Trix Lamasters is one. I'm a huge fan of MC books and Vipers Creed is a great way to kick off a new series. There are plenty of intriguing characters in this MC that can be potential great stories to come.

Challenged is about second chances. Trixie is Ms. Independent. She's successful in running a strip club, Siren, yes, that makes her kick ass--because she's tough and knows what and how she run things. But when it comes to an old flame, Spook, her heart and her head gets all jumbled up.

Trixie has to go to the one person who broke her heart all these years ago for help and answers. But going to Spook for help isn't free. He's relentless and wants what he lost and gave up when he was younger..and that Trixie. This book is filled with plenty of MC drama, mystery and some serious hot steam between the characters. It's a short read that kicks off this new motorcycle club that is intense and keeps you turning the page.

About the Author Ryan Michele has a huge obsession with reading, which only came to life after her best friend said she had to read Twilight. After reading that series, her entire world changed in the blink of an eye. Not only was she sucked into new worlds and all of the wonderful words authors put down on paper, she felt the urge to begin to write down the characters that played inside of her head. In doing so, Safe was born. Then Wanting You and the Ravage MC series.

When she's not reading or writing, she spends time taking care of her two children and her husband, enjoying the outdoors and laying in the sun.

Cover Reveal: Perfect Rage (Unyielding #3) by Nashoda Rose

The third and final installment in the Unyielding series from
New York Times bestselling author Nashoda Rose.

This is Connor’s Story.

“Perfect Rage”
Excerpt Copyright © 2016 by Nashoda Rose

The porch boards creaked behind me. I spun, but not fast enough and a hand clamped over my mouth. I was yanked backward to land against a hard chest then dragged into the darkness of the far corner of the porch where the light failed to illuminate and a tree concealed us from the street.
My scream came out muffled and barely audible.
“Shhh,” he murmured against my ear.
Connor?
His warm breath wafted over the side of my neck and goose bumps popped along my skin. But it wasn’t from fear, well maybe a little, but it was more an awareness. Like my body awakened to his touch.
“They put a man on you.”
Ernie. He’d seen Ernie. Connor managed to get by an ex-navy SEAL. It shouldn’t surprise me. He excelled at being invisible. But the question was had Ernie seen him?
“He’s good. Took two hours before I had the chance.” And he’d always been patient. “You going to stay quiet if I remove my hand?”
I did my best to nod, but his grip on me was constricting and I only managed a slight dip of my chin. His hand slid from my mouth to the curve of my neck where his fingers enclosed, not harsh, but with purpose.
His rough whisper rumbled, “Can’t leave yet. Tried to. Bike found its way back here.” His body stiffened. “I don’t know what the hell I’m doing.”
Oh, God. I squeezed my eyes shut as tears pooled. I was uncertain what he’d do to me right now. He was on edge, but I couldn’t stop the overwhelming need to curl into his arms and take his pain away.
His body stiffened and his forearm across my breasts squeezed. I whimpered under the pressure, but didn’t struggle.
“I’m sorry. Fuck, I’m so sorry about your family, sweet-baby.”
My breath locked and a tear teetered then fell. Wetness trailed down my cheek. I hadn’t heard him call me that in eleven years and it was as if I were back there with him, falling in love all over again.
His fingers splayed on my neck gently applied more pressure. It wasn’t restricting, but it was controlling and I knew he’d easily cut off air if he wanted to. But I trusted that Connor would never willingly hurt me.
It was the graze of his lips on the edge of my jaw that sent my heart rocketing and my belly into a perpetual whoosh. Confusion and desire clashed as my body and mind fought against one another.
“You should’ve chosen me,” he murmured.
I had chosen him. Everything I’d done was me choosing him. But that wasn’t what he was talking about.
“You should’ve chosen me,” he repeated then nibbled on the lobe of my ear, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin. “Why? Why didn’t you kill me instead?”

“Perfect Rage”
Coming Soon.
