Pulling on the reigns, I turned Black Jack and headed back to the house. She’d be here soon and I still
needed to take a shower. “Let’s go boy,” I shouted as I gave Jack a bit of pressure to get him into a run.
Twenty minutes later hot water was running over my body.
My hands were leaning against the travertine wall as I hung my head with my eyes closed.
“If that’s not the best damn site I’ve seen in awhile.”
With a grin, I smiled as I felt her hands move across my wet body. “Did you miss me?” she whispered
against my skin while she slowly moved her lips down my chest.

Paislie Pruitt had a rough start to life. She was dropped off at an orphanage at a young age, by a father who didn't want her. This event made Paislie who she is as a woman--distrusting men and detecting lies. Besides that, she's strong and independent and she doesn't need men and love to let her down. She has a successful career as a physical therapist.
That's until Malcolm Wallace comes racing into her life. Malcom is hot, lives on the dangerous side and is a professional race car driver. Malcom may look like he has it all, but inside, he's haunted by his past. So sleeping around with women, makes him forget. But that's until he meets the beautiful Paislie.
So when these two meet, sparks fly, but the push and pull between these two causes some serious angst. Their relationship starts off flirtatious and then it turns into one hot, passionate romance. But as we all know, relationships aren't perfect. The past sneaks up on them and causes a lot of emotional hurt and both are afraid to move forward (but don't worry--they do get a HEA, it just takes some drama to get there!).
Adrenaline is a quick read, with plenty of steamy romps between the characters. Malcolm is one dirty-talking book boyfriend!
