I couldn't stop. Stayed up late reading, woke up reading, read on the way to work, read at work, read on the way home and now... I'm sad I'm done reading this fantastic book!

Throughout this book, I loved Caine. Then I hated Caine. Then I loved him even more at the end. He is an arrogant ass, but there is something about him that made him a Hero to me. 

Alexa (aka Lexie) lived a life full of secrets and it entwined with Caine and his past. I loved her character--even though her family life sucked, she was always determined to make things in her life right. She knew what she want and didn't let others get in her way. Determined to make things right and the pull she has with Caine, she gets in his face. But Caine wants nothing to do with her--that's until he decides he wants her (ok--he doesn't admit to it then!).

Caine and Lexie's affair was a constant back and forth. When I thought they were on a path of a HEA, Caine would just come back as the cold-hearted SOB and just push her away. This entire book, I was on edge on  how he would react--he was quite the moody one! 

Caine had secrets and knew that getting involved with Lexie wasn't going to be forever. Even though she tried to push him to let her in. 

Hero is another hit by Ms. Young. It's filled with plenty of passion, steam, angst, heartbreak and suspense. Caine Carraway is one "hero" to be added to my ever growing list of book boyfriends. And the epilogue is truly swoon-worthy and warms your heart!
