Blog Tour Stop: Sweet Filthy Boy (Wild Seasons, #1) by Christina Lauren

One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.

But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.

When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.

Goodreads

4 Stars out of 5

Ansel is one sweet, filthy French boy! And I loved every single word that came out of that filthy mouth!

Sweet Filthy Boy is a fantastic start on kicking off another winning series. This book has a bit of everything in it: hot, dirty, romance, angst and  a lot of awesome new characters we'll sure to love.

"Laisse-toi aller, pour moi. Come for me."

Mia meets Ansel on a "we're done with college" weekend trip to Vegas with her girlfriends. Mia is struggling to get ready to live in the real world, but the real world is not what she wants. She's living her life as her demanding, controlling father wants her to live. This book also showcases another great group of girlfriends that Mia runs around with. They all had me laughing at times:

"Put ten dollars in the Whore Jar..."

Ansel is also on a getaway with friends and ends up meeting Mia at a club. And let's just say these two have a H-O-T connection. Ansel's has a way to turn Mia's inside into mush (and mine!) and this leads to a one-time hot fling. Or they think it's a one-time fling.

At the end of the trip, Ansel tries to convince Mia to come back to France with him. During a spur moment, Mia jumps at the chance, living it up in Paris and "playing house" with Ansel.

But it's not all fun and romantic. Real life gets in the way and Ansel and Mia try to figure out what is really going with them. Do they continue to fight their attraction? Or just let nature take its course.

Mia and Ansel complimented each other. Mia was struggling to figure out where belongs and how she was to continue her life. Ansel was a support to her and encouraged her to follow her heart. He knew what he wanted and it was Mia, but also he knew what kind of life/job he wanted.

"J'ai envie de toi"

Sweet Filthy Boy is another fab read for all your Beautiful Bastard fans and new fans too!

About the Authors:
Lauren Billings (but everyone calls her Lo) has a Ph.D. in neuroscience and before she made writing her full-time job, would spend her days doing nerdy research-type things wearing a lab coat and goggles. She is silly Mommy to two littles, wife to one mountain biking homebrewing scientist, bestie to a shoe-stealer, and an unabashed lover of YA and romance.

Christina Hobbs (but you’ll always hear Lo call her PQ) used to spend her days in a junior high counseling office surrounded by teenagers. Married to the cutest boy in school, she has a thirteen year old daughter, is an unapologetic lover of boy bands and glitter, and also likes to steal Lo’s shoes.
