It might be fair to say that I despise Macy Carrington. She slings insults with precision, not caring about the destruction she leaves in her wake. We clash in a battle of wills every time we’re around each other, and yet… I still fantasize about being lodged deep within her body.

I have never encountered someone that grates me the way Cal Carson does. His pompous, arrogant demeanor. A holier-than-thou attitude. Any interaction with “Saint Cal” ends in a verbal clash of epic proportions, and yet… there’s no one I’d rather have in my bed than him.

Can I just say how hot Cal and Macy are? Seriously, the hate/love chemistry between these two characters is off the chart!
You think Cal Carson is an arrogant, self-centered, womanizer. He's rich, smart and a successful attorney. But Cal is far from being arrogant. He ended a long commitment with a woman, who didn't want to settle down and never put him first. Cal is ready to find a good woman who can settle down with him and start a family.
Macy Carrington is wealthy, extravagant and knows what she wants in the bedroom--a hot one-night stand with no repeats. Ever. Macy may seem put together on the outside, but she is filled with dark secrets, that no one knows, except her best friend, Mac.
Macy and Cal can not stand each other. They both hurdle insults to each other and having mutual friends doesn't help. But that all changes one day, when they ended up banging all over (literally!) and now they can't seem to get enough with each other. But the problem is, they both don't want to admit or act upon it again.
Macy ends up needing Cal's legal service and the ball game changes for both. Macy ends up propositioning him, but there are conditions that Cal wants to enforce and it really doesn't matter, because he can't seem to say no to her.
Clash is a super quick, super hot read and will leaving you hanging for more! But don't fear, book 2, Grind will be out soon to continue with more Macy and Cal.
