Have since I was sixteen and my world fell into chaos. But I found a way to endure, or rather it found me. Now I’m a prisoner of my own doing, hiding behind a false mask so no one sees the truth. Not even the man I want but can’t have—Deck. But I messed up and the lies are spilling over, out of control.
Deck is unrelenting and will settle for nothing less than the truth. He demands everything from me—EVERYTHING—even if it rips me apart.
DECK
I kill for a living.
Unyielding—It’s how I survive in my line of work. I bend people to my will…except Georgie.
But that ends now.
I've played her game for far too long. Now I think it's time we play mine.
4.5 Stars
Wow! Deck and Georgia. I've been waiting forever for their story and it was worth the wait!
Their relationship stems back when Georgie is a teen and Deck is friends with her brother. Georgie’s life was shattered when her older brother Connor was killed while serving overseas. And it also affect Deck's life. He felt a lot of regret and hurt.
Even though the attraction between Deck and Georgie is strong, she's always been off limit to Deck. He promised her brother, that he would watch over her, but no touching! There was hot chemistry between the two, but in order it to fall in place, they both had to deal with issues.
Perfect Chaos is filled with plenty of lies, secrets and action. Deck knows how to save the day! And there are some big turn of events at the end.
I have to say this book is so intense and non-stop. Perfect Chaos is one amazing book to read this year!
