Bountiful (True North, #4) by Sarina Bowen

No last names. No life stories. Those were the rules.

Once upon a time a cocky, copper-haired tourist sauntered into Zara’s bar. And even though she knew better, Zara indulged in a cure for the small-town blues. It was supposed to be an uncomplicated fling—a few sizzling weeks before he went back to his life, and she moved on.

Until an accidental pregnancy changed her life.

Two years later, she’s made peace with the notion that Dave No-Last-Name will never be found. Until one summer day when he walks into her coffee shop, leveling her with the same hot smile that always renders her defenseless.

Dave Beringer has never forgotten the intense month he spent with prickly Zara. Their nights together were the first true intimacy he’d ever experienced. But the discovery of his child is the shock of a lifetime, and his ugly past puts relationships and family out of reach.

Or does it? Vermont’s countryside has a way of nurturing even tortured souls. The fields and the orchards—and hard won love—are Bountiful.

4.5 Stars

I can't get enough of Ms. Bowen's books and the True North series! Bountiful is a another sweet, sexy and full of surprises read. Each book in this series are stand-alones, but characters do cross over. I highly recommend this series from the beginning, because I just love it! And I think this is my favorite one in the series.

Zara is a fantastic female lead character. She's independent, sassy and does what she wants. And when the mysterious and very sexy Dave walks into her bar on summer--sparks fly! Zara and Dave feel the spark, so they let each other have that one summer together, but no personal info allowed!

And as they part ways--Dave heading back to NYC and Zara just back to her regular life in Vermont, an unexpected surprise happens to Zara. Yep, you read it in the synopsis--an unexpected baby on the way and getting a hold of her summer fling is impossible. Zara has been dealing with single motherhood just fine, with the help of her family.

But guess who walks in Zara and baby Nicole's life two years later and doesn't have a clue about his summer romp that left him as a Daddy? That's right, Dave is back and more then ever, he's determine to take full responsibility to make it right.

Bountiful will make you swoon over this unique family relationship. Another great read.
