Perfect Rage (Unyielding #3) by Nashoda Rose

This is Connor's story.

Unstable.
Unpredictable.
Consumed by perfect rage.
I was fighting who I’d become and what I’d done.

There was nothing I cared about except her.
She was mine.
But I’d forgotten her—my shutterbug.
And I lost her.

Until now.

I’d do anything to possess her again.
Anything to keep her safe.
Protect her against my biggest opponent.

The monster.

Me.

4.5 Raging Stars!

This series just gets better and better! I've been waiting for Connor's story since we found out he's alive (and yes, that should not be a spoiler, because you should of read the first two books!). I just knew his story was going to be heartbreaking and painful and it really is, but I loved every page!

The damaged man that showed up at the end of Perfect Ruin became an unknown to everyone who loved him. This Connor was full of rage, hate and just filled with pure darkness. But being captured and having your memories erased will do that to a man, especially by The Vault.

In Perfect Rage, we learn how fun, care-free and loving Connor is. He loved to serve his country. He was meant to protect this country and the people he loves. And while overseas, he meets a beautiful photographer, Catalina "Alina" Diaz. She's young, determined and quickly falls for the solider. As their time overseas is spent falling in love, Alina hides her family secrets and danger from Connor and ends up breaking it up.

Jump to seven years later, Alina is free from danger, but will never forgive herself for what happened to Connor. I won't spoil what he went through, but the author did a fantastic job of jumping to the his past when he was held captive.

Connor is now living off the radar, but secretly watching the love of his life from afar. He wants to be close, but not close enough to hurt her, because his mental state is not stable. As Alina grows closer to Connor's old friends and family, she finally gets a sense of home, but what she needs is Connor.
