ARC Review: An Act Of Redemption (An Act of Honor #1) by K.C. Lynn

She saw in him what no one else could see.

He found in her what he could never find.

One moment changed everything but, even with a break in time, their connection could never be severed.

In the beginning he may have been her salvation, but in the end she will be his redemption.

This is Book One in the Acts Of Honor series, the spin-off series to Men Of Honor. It’s told in dual POV, has an HEA with no cliffhanger and it can be read as a standalone. However, I highly recommend that you read the Men Of Honor series prior, as characters play recurring roles in both series.

Warning: Due to mature subject matter, such as explicit sexual situations and coarse language, this story is not suitable for anyone under the age of 18.

4.5 Stars!

Love. Love. Love. I'm a huge of fan of Ms. Lynn's work and I just knew going into this book, after my Men of Honor high, that this new series will be equally good (or better!).

I had so many feels throughout this book: sweetness, heartbreak, pain, anger and lots of love for these two characters. Logan and Anna were a fantastic couple that has gone through hell and were able to get past it with each other--just a few bumps in the road.

One night completely changed both of their lives forever. They were torn apart, but their love for each other never changed--even though years passed. But in order to move forward, Logan had to forgive himself. And knowing he hurt an already broken Anna, it was much harder and harder for him to stay away from her. But despite all the hurt and anger, these two were meant to be and being with each other made them stronger to move ahead. I don't want to give anything away, but An Act of Redemption is a book that is full of emotions. It's just a fabulous read that is a must to add to your TBR list.

And I loved getting the Men of Honor boys in this book! I can't get enough of Jax and the boys. So looking forward to more in this series.

The Men of Honor Series
You will not break me for I am unbreakable. I will live with integrity, fight with honor and die for what’s right.

Precious lives were saved when three brave Navy SEALs went against orders, embarking on a rescue mission of their own. A mission that will never be forgotten and changed the course of their lives forever. While they will never regret their decision, it came with heavy consequence.

Now they must fight to protect the women they love while also battling the new and existing demons that torture their souls, from death, corruption, destruction and war. These men are strong, honorable and will do everything they can to overcome the past that continues to haunt them.
