I loved everything about this book. From the cover, to the characters and to the story line. I couldn't enough of this story. This author knows how to write swooney, uber-alpha male characters and Deaglan Kane is one of my new fav hero!

Irish Crown brings back a past characters from her Unyielding series (don't worry, this can be read as a stand alone). And it was fantastic to get a little more from them, since it's been awhile. 

Deaglan Kane is your typical over-protective bad ass, who is willing to do anything for his woman. And he claimed Eva his woman, even though she fights him every step of the way. Eva and Deaglan's one-night hook-up ends up being more than they both expected. His past ends up colliding with Eva's life and he will do anything to protect her from harm. 

This book is a thrilling ride with plenty of sexiness, sweetness and twists that I didn't see coming. And I'm so looking forward to Vic's book, because that man is even more mysterious than Deaglan! 

A Gentleman for Christmas by Prescott Lane

Some say “chivalry is dead.”

I don’t think so. Most women I know like a gentleman.

Protective, opens doors, treats women with respect, typically follows the rules.

But a gentleman doesn’t fall for his best friend’s woman. Current or ex.

And that’s what I’ve done.

A Gentlemen for Christmas may be short novella, but it was filled with so much angst, heartbreak and love. It's a book about friendship and second chances. 

Jax is known as well-known speaker of giving advice to men about women. He's a gentlemen when it comes to rules about women and your guy friends. And tells his followers to live by that code. But he finds himself breaking it when his best friend, Skylar, from childhood comes back into his life. 

Skylar and Jax have been best friends, but they both been secretly in love with each other and just never said anything about it. So when Skyler and Jax's friendship is strained over the years because of her dating one of their close friends for years - it takes a turn when she comes back home. 

Don't worry, this story is not a love triangle! It's more of a story about second chances and knowing who your soul-mate is all along, but life just takes you on a detour before finding that one person! As Jax and Skylar rekindle their friendship, it turns into more, but does takes a toll on their circle of friends. 

A Gentlemen for Christmas is a fabulous read that will bring you joy with sweet, sexy and drama-filled moments.

Another fantastic read in this One and Only series (can be a stand alone!). Stella, the serious sister, finally gets her HEA and it's the most unexpected place and way! Stella just came off a break up and what is the best way to get over it? According to her sisters, it's to have a hot fling.

When Stella ends up traveling north to check on her grandma, she doesn't expect the "boy" next door who helps Grams out, is actually a man. A very hot, mysterious and brooding man. Ryan has been living a shelter life after a tragic accident. He lives with anger, hurt and a past that haunts him. He never expected this sweet old neighbor, has a granddaughter, ends up changing his life. 

Ryan does everything to avoid Stella, but her persistent and they way she has with him, puts him in ease. These two slowly build a relationship that is a lot of back and forth. These characters had a lot of chemistry, with the help of Grams! 

There's nothing more exciting and romantic when  fate or maybe when Grandma intervenes! Only Love is a great read with a little angst, and a whole lot of chemistry.

Another fabulous read in the Lark Cove series. Tragic is a heartbreaking, heartfelt and beautiful story about a broken man, who finds love and magic with his next door neighbor!

We briefly met Piper Campbell, Logan's fiesty assistant, in past books and now she finally gets her HEA with the mysterious and broody, Kaine. Kaine Reynolds fled into the secluded area of Lark Cove, Montana to get away from his past and the ghosts who haunt his thoughts. He lived a simple and isolated life for a few years, just until his loud, intriguing and sexy neighbor moves next door.

Piper Campbell moved to Lark Cove for a fresh start. She finds the perfect home and also meets her moody neighbor, who doesn't seem so nice. But she can tell that he's hiding from his past with the sadness in his eyes.  These two start a very unconventional relationship, but the more they spend time together, the more they try to keep their distance, but their chemistry is undeniable. 

I loved how Kaine's story unfolds - it truly is heartbreaking and having Piper there every step, made me happy. Getting to their HEA took time and both had to face their past head-on. And they had the perfect epilogue! Always looking forward for me in this series. Can't wait for the next book!
