ARC Review: Reaper's Fall (Reapers MC #5) by Joanna Wylde

He never meant to hurt her.

Levi “Painter” Brooks was nothing before he joined the Reapers motorcycle club. The day he patched in, they became his brothers and his life. All they asked in return was a strong arm and unconditional loyalty—a loyalty that’s tested when he’s caught and sentenced to prison for a crime committed on their behalf.

Melanie Tucker may have had a rough start, but along the way she’s learned to fight for her future. She’s escaped from hell and started a new life, yet every night she dreams of a biker whose touch she can’t forget. It all started out so innocently—just a series of letters to a lonely man in prison. Friendly. Harmless. Safe.

Now Painter Brooks is coming home… and Melanie’s about to learn that there’s no room for innocence in the Reapers MC.

Reaper's Fall releases on November 10, 2016! Pre-order it on Amazon!

4.5 Stars

On Painter. Painter. Painter. Painter. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to smack some sense into this man! He was frustrating, bad ass and sweet all rolled into one! Reaper's Fall follows Levi "Painter" Brooks and his hot and cold relationship with Melanie Tucker.

Mel had a rough start, but she learned how to move forward with her life. Along the way, she developed an innocent friendship with Painter and over the years it developed into more. And more chaotic and confusing for her. Painter is all about his brotherhood in the MC. He's willing to do anything for his brothers, even if that means going to prison. And that's where he ends up for awhile.

While in prison, Mel continues her friendship by writing to Painter. Their feelings over the years became strong, but Painter knew better than to stay away from Mel.

Now he's back home and staying away from Mel proves to be hard. He doesn't want to taint her innocence with his lifestyle and his old habits. He knows that he will up and leave her, so he doesn't want to break her. But he already is...

"I still wanted better for her. Someone nice, who'd work a steady job, maybe take her to Hawaii every other year. Wash her car on Saturday mornings. Unfortunately, every time I tried to picture that guy, he was dead at my feet."

Reaper's Fall is another fantastic read that takes you through the years of Mel and Painter's turbulence relationship. When they are together, they are sweet and perfect as they can be. And their scenes when together are hot! But when they are apart, they are miserable and angry. Plus there is always plenty of drama and danger that these boys live everyday just being a Reaper! I loved Mel and Painter and happy he finally made it right.

If you haven't yet, purchase the entire series from the beginning on Amazon! Starting with Reaper's Property!
