Hard Beat is another great read from the Driven series. It follows Rylee's older brother, Tanner Thomas. He's a reporter in the Middle East and lives on the edge of getting the story first. But his life and career is takes a backseat when his partner, Stella, a photojournalist is killed. 

Tanner fights his grief and guilt over losing her. But when he demands to go back on the job, he not only faces his career without Stella, he ends up with a rookie that he despises. 

BJ (Beaux Croslyn) is a beautiful photojournalist that has caught Tanner's eye. They end up having a wild, one-night, but neither one of them knew they will end up being assigned as partners. This causes serious anger in Tanner. He's a total jerk to her, but BJ is determined to do a great job and take this assignment as her next big career move. 

The sexual attraction and chemistry is strong, but Tanner is determined to push her away and let his past control their relationship. As their partnership grows, so do their feelings. But BJ continues to be a mystery to him. There are secrets that she is hiding (big ones!) that could potentially be dangerous and break them. 

Hard Beat is filled with excitement and mystery and plenty hot, steamy scenes between these two characters!
