ARC Review: November 9 by Colleen Hoover

Beloved #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover returns with an unforgettable love story between a writer and his unexpected muse.

Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day of her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in L.A. together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.

5 Out of 5 Stars

As always, with every one of Ms. Hoover's books, once you start reading, you can't stop! Next thing you know, hours have passed and you haven't moved off the couch.

November 9 gives you all the feels in the world. It's a story about two young people who fall in love each time they meet, on one particular day. They are both trying to find who they are in life and what their passions are. November 9 takes you through this particular day over the years and shows how much these two characters grow each year.  It does has an unexpecting plot twist, that I did not see coming, and it keeps you hoping for a happily ever after for these two characters.

Fallon O'Neil has gone through so much in her young life. She lives in the Hollywood spotlight, her father is a famous actor and Fallon is one too. But after an accident that took place when she was sixteen, it changed her entire life.

Benton Kessler is a young writer who is looking for inspiration and as fate happens, it brings him to meet Fallon on November 9. A day that connects these two in very different and similar ways.

I loved Fallon's sassiness and the way her and Ben interact. They have a  playful, funny banter and the immediate connection between them is so sweet. They both decide that they need to find their passion and what makes them happy in life. For Ben, Fallon becomes his muse for his story and for Fallon, it's finding herself back in the spotlight. So both decide to meet up again, for the next five years on the exact same date, November 9. And absolutely no communication in between.

Every year on this day, they come together with more love for each other and then some heartbreak when the day ends. And each year after that, it gets harder for the two and some truths start to come out.

I can't say enough about this book, but it's a fantastic read that you can't help but fall in love the humor and passion that Fallon and Ben have for each other. November 9 is another mind-blowing book! Scale of 1 to 10. I give it a "twelve."
