Blog Tour Stop: The Light House by Jason Luke

‘The light house’ - A love story.
Art has always been Blake McGrath’s life. Scarred by tragedy, he’s hiding from the world on a lonely beach, struggling with loss and bitter regrets.

Connie is a disillusioned art dealer with troubled relationship issues of her own. Through her sudden mysterious appearance, Blake once again returns to the craft he has mastered to prove to himself that there is hope, that redemption is possible… and that love can last.

3.5 Stars
The Light House is a different story from anything I read from this author. It's a story about finding yourself after a tragedy and trying to move on.  The writing style of this book is beautiful and tells the story in third person.

Connie is a woman who got caught up in the promising art world. She found herself in a stuck in a situation with a shady boss and owes a lot to him. Blake is a man who found fame and fortune through his art over the years, but after a tragedy, he became a hermit-and hid from the world.

Both Connie and Blake's world changes when they meet by accident. These two unknowingly helped each other heal and move past their demons. And ultimately opened their hearts to love. There was a twist I totally didn't see coming, and it just made the story more heartbreaking, but at the same time beautiful.

Connie and Blake were destined to meet and it gave me a great feeling after the end. The Light House is a wonderful, good-feeling read!
