Blind Devotion by S. Nelson

Alina Winthrop's only focus is her career as a lawyer at her father’s firm. She has goals to one day takeover, helping countless people when the reins are passed down to her, but there’s a catch. She has to go along with everything her father wants, including marrying a man of his choosing. However, the moment she meets a cocky and intrusive stranger, all bets are off.

Maxton Colter packed up and left his life in California for an opportunity to work at the largest law firm on the East Coast. A new bachelor, he is steadfast in his goal to remain single. Until he sets eyes on a feisty blonde who suddenly has him second-guessing everything.

Will their mutual attraction have a chance to flourish or will their chemistry fizzle before either of them tempts fate?

4 Stars

I've been a fan of this author's work since her MC series and couldn't wait to read one of her contemporary romance books! Blind Devotion is nothing but a lot of sizzle and angst between the pages.

Alina Winthrop is a dedicated lawyer who wants to help those in need. She works for her father at one of the most powerful law offices. Her father wants the best for her, even though he doesn't see it as controlling. He hand-picked the "perfect fiancé" for her, but Alina isn't ready. She wants a relationship based on love. I like Alina' character, she seemed to be a push-over, but she was far from it. She is feisty and knows what she wants.

And Max Colter noticed that feistiness in her right away! Max is a  newly single man and not ready for anything serious. But when he meets Alina everything changes. There's something about her, that makes him want to protect her. Max just started at the same firm with Alina and their attraction causes a lot of mess.
