It’s time for more men and motorcycles in the latest from theNew York Times bestselling author of Reaper’s Fall...
The club comes first.
I’ve lived by those words my whole life—assumed I’d die by them, too, and I never had a problem with that. My Reaper brothers took my back and I took theirs and it was enough. Then I met her. Tinker Garrett. She’s beautiful, she’s loyal, and she works so damned hard it scares me sometimes . . . She deserves a good man—one better than me. I can’t take her yet because the club still needs me. There’s another woman, another job, another fight just ahead.
Now she’ll learn I’ve been lying to her all along. None of it’s real. Not my name, not my job, not even the clothes I wear. She thinks I’m nice. She pretends we’re just friends, that I’ve still got a soul . . . Mine’s been dead for years. Now I’m on fire for this woman, and a man can only burn for so long before he destroys everything around him.
I’m coming for you, Tinker.
4 Stars
I'm a big fan of Reaper's MC and happy it ends with Gage. Gage and Tinker relationship didn't quite start out on a positive note. Basically it was all lies! Gage is undercover for the MC trying to find out who's stepping over in their territory from another rival club.
Gage ends up meeting Tinker who is sweet, honest and coming out of a bad marriage. Tinker has been burned by an ex and doesn't need anymore unnecessary drama in her life. And that is exactly what Gage brings to her doorstep, but she can't seem to stop fantasizing over the new handy man that is helping her out.
Gage and Tinker continue their flirtatious relationship, but Gage is torn because he's falling for her, but also has a pact with his own MC brothers--he's only there to get information. He can't let his feelings for Tinker get in the way. And there's one more problem. Their relationship on who is really is...all lies!
But when truth comes to surface and all the lies are laid in front of Tinker, she has a hard time forgiving. But as you know, Gage is one alpha-male and willing to do whatever it takes to make Tinker his. I loved his passion and determination to win his woman back.
Reaper's Fire is full of MC drama, angst, and some very heartbreaking moments. But as typical, Ms. Wylde books, it was a non-stop read! And the epilogue is perfect!
