Goal!Garret Samuelson is one hot, cocky, hockey player for the Carolina Cold Fury! We briefly meet Garrett in the first book, Alex. we knew he was a playboy and lived the pro-athletic lifestyle--groupies, drinking and lots of random one-night hook-ups.
But Garrett meets his match in Olivia. Olivia turns Garrett's life upside down, but for the good! Olivia is Sutton's cousin. She's free-spirited, fun, beautiful and has a great life. But one bad news from her doctor throws everything off for Olivia.
Garrett pulls off his playboy charm when he first meets Olivia. But she doesn't easy fall for that. The attraction is instant and being persistent eventually works out for Garrett. These two fall in a hot, hot relationship. But as time goes on, these two start to have feelings. But with Olivia and her medical issues, she's hesitant on carrying on with Garrett.
This book is another great read from this author. I love all her books. Garrett is filled with passion, heartbreak (and OMG! Really--some parts were heartbreaking!) and plenty of pure steam between the characters. And I love that we get a little bit of the past couples, Sutton and Alex.
And that epilogue in this book. Made me totally swoon with happiness!
