You can never have enough of Dean West swoon-worthy moments. And let's be honest, I need a Professor West in my life. I couldn't have been more excited to get another book about one of my favorite couples! And Adore did the trick for more Dean and Liv's fairy tale story!

Of course when you throw in another book after having a near-perfect ending in the last one, you get nervous because you know there will be some drama and angst for the couple.  And Adore did just that.

Liv, Dean and Nicholas are the perfect family. This family has nothing but love for each other and trying to balance family and work causes tension and a shift in Liv and Dean's relationship.  Being a wife, mother and running her own business has Liv on edge. She's doing too much and not enough focus on her husband. Dean is on a constantly leaving for new work adventures, and it caused these two have lost their passion for each other.  Not their love, but just the connection in bedroom.

Adore takes you through the frustration and the determination of Dean and Liv to get their marriage back on track. Their jobs and the decisions they make takes a toll on this path, but don't fear, nothing can break up our favorite couple. And I love the ending and wish their story never ends.

ARC Review: Legend (Real #6) by Katy Evans

Maverick “the Avenger” Cage wants to rise to the top and become a legend in the ring. Though he keeps his identity well guarded, he's known on the fighting circuit as the new kid with a chip on his shoulder and a tattoo on his back that marks him as trouble. He's got a personal score to settle with the Underground's one and only Remington "Riptide" Tate.

As Mav trains, he meets a young girl—the only other new person in the town--and sparks fly. When things get heated between them, he finds out she's none other than Reese Dumas, the cousin of Remington Tate’s wife. A girl who's supposed to root against him and a girl he's supposed to stay away from.

But Maverick fights for the woman in his heart, and the monsters in his blood. The world’s eyes are on them and the victor will go down in history as the ultimate fighting champion; the ultimate LEGEND.

4.5 stars

I can't tell you how much I loved this book. And I'm absolutely thrilled that Ms. Evans made this book come full circle and ended on a perfect note. After Remy's story, this series went off track for me. But Legend comes back to the world of MMA Underground fights and back with a little of Remy and Brooke too.

Maverick Cage is unknown and looking to become a "legend" inside the world of underground fighting. But no one wants to give him a chance. So far, he's trained on his own and just need someone to open that one door for him to give him a chance.

Reese Dumas is the cousin of Tate's wife, Brooke. Reese is confused with her life, she's always been the quiet and shy type and now she wants to branch out and figure out who she is. She decides to join Tate's team for the summer--it's away from home and on her own (sort of). Reese spends time watching Brooke and Tate's little boy, Racer (I loved this kid), while his parents are working. She also spends a lot of time at the gym. And it's where she first runs into Maverick. These two continue to run into each other and over time, they slowly build a friendship.

Without knowing, Reese helps Maverick out by introducing him to Oz, a washed-up coach with plenty of issues. But Oz is able to get Maverick into the fighting world. As Maverick starts earning his place in the ring, the friendship and attraction between him and Reese can't be denied. But there's a problem...he finds out she's related and with Tate's team.

Legend is probably my favorite book in this series. As much as I love Remy and Tate, I think that Maverick and Reese are my favorite. For all you Remy fans out there, you will not be disappointed in this book. I'm sad that this series ended, but glad it ended up the way it did. Ms. Evans did a perfect job of giving Remy, Brooke, Maverick and Reese their final happily ever after!

Excerpt Reveal: RoomHate by Penelope Ward

From New York Times Bestselling Author, Penelope Ward, comes a new standalone novel.

Sharing a summer house with a hot-as-hell roommate should be a dream come true, right?

Not when it’s Justin…the only person I’d ever loved…who now hates me.

When my grandmother died and left me half of the house on Aquidneck Island, there was a catch: the other half would go to the boy she helped raise.

The same boy who turned into the teenager whose heart I broke years ago.

The same teenager who’s now a man with a hard body and a hardass personality to match.

I hadn’t seen him in years, and now we’re living together because neither one of us is willing to give up the house.

The worst part? He didn’t come alone.

I’d soon realize there’s a thin line between love and hate. I could see through that smug smile. Beneath it all…the boy is still there. So is our connection.

The problem is…now that I can’t have Justin, I’ve never wanted him more.

Author's note – RoomHate is a full-length standalone novel. Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

My heart felt like it was pounding out of my chest. Watching this whole thing unfold had made me totally lose sense of reality. I felt like I’d been experiencing every movement, every feeling right along with him, except I wasn’t allowed to come. It was as if I’d seriously lost my mind in the process. That was the only thing that could possibly explain why my body decided to betray me, letting out an involuntary sigh….moan? I wasn’t sure and couldn’t even tell you what it was except to say whatever sound I made caused Justin to jump back. His head whipped toward me, and his shocked eyes met mine for a brief second before I ran back down the stairs.

Humiliated.

Mortified.

My heart felt like it was in my mouth. Escaping out the front door and down to the water, I continued to run aimlessly on the sand. At one point, about a mile down the beach, it became necessary to stop and catch my breath, even though I wanted to keep running. I’d gotten so wrapped up in Justin that I’d forgotten how sick I was this afternoon. It was all hitting me again as I stumbled over to the shoreline and vomited into the ocean.

I collapsed into the sand and must have sat there for over an hour. The sun was starting to go down, and the tide was coming in. It felt like everything was closing in on me. I knew I couldn’t avoid going home forever.

What if he told Jade what I’d done?

That I was watching him.

Oh God.

He was going to crucify me for this.

What excuse could I possibly give him that would explain why I was hiding behind his door, watching him ejaculate like it was a Fourth of July fireworks performance?
I decided that I needed to get home before Jade did. Maybe I could convince him not to say anything. Brushing the sand off my thighs, I made my way back over to the house.
My heart nearly stopped upon finding Justin standing in the kitchen, drinking out of a half-gallon of orange juice. I stood silently behind him and watched as he put the container back.

Justin turned around and finally noticed me standing there. His hair was wet, making it appear brown instead of blonde. He must have taken a shower to wash away the awkwardness of our encounter. Looking painfully handsome in a brown distressed t-shirt that fit his chest like a glove, he just stared me down.
Here it comes.

I braced myself for his humiliating words. My heart was beating out of my chest as he just continued to look at me blankly without saying anything. He slowly walked toward me, and all of the muscles in my body tightened. He was going to get in my face and do it.

Shit.

ARC Review: Wicked Sexy Liar (Wild Seasons #4) by Christina Lauren

When three college besties meet three hot guys in Vegas, anything can—and does—happen. Book Four in the New York Times Wild Seasons series that began with Sweet Filthy Boy (the Romantic Times book of the year that Sylvia Day called “a sexy, sweet treasure of a story”), Dirty Rowdy Thing, and Dark Wild Night.

For two people ambivalent about dating and love, they sure get naked around each other an awful lot . . .

London Hughes is very content to surf daily, tend bar, hang out with her group of friends, and slowly orient herself in the years after college. Everything’s going great and according to the non-plan.

But when a wave knocks her for a loop one morning, then Luke Sutter’s flirtatious smile knocks her for another that evening, she veers slightly off course…and into his path. Sure, he’s a total player, but the Why not—it’s only one night is a persistent voice in her ear.

For his part, Luke’s been on hookup autopilot for so long that he rarely ever pauses to consider what he’s doing. But after an amazing time with London, he realizes that he hasn’t been moving on from a devastating heartbreak so much as he’s been drifting to wherever—and whomever—the current takes him. With London he wants more.

Every relationship involves two people…plus their pasts. And as much as she enjoys her fling with Luke, when London learns about his past—more specifically, who’s in it—everything becomes the brand of complicated she strives to avoid. It’s up to Luke then to change some things in order to try and ensure he’s not something she’ll outright avoid as well.

Christina Lauren can do no wrong when it comes to writing! And Wicked Sexy Liar is another hot and sexy read that is full with angst, heartbreak and love!

London Hughes is roomies with Lolo. We all met Lolo in the last book, so now it's time for the "wary-of men" Lolo's story. She lives life surfing during the day and tending bar at night. Even with her design degree, she's content in doing her thing.

And when Luke Sutter walks into the bar, London thinks she has him all figured out. She clearly, thinks he hot, but she's also made up her mind that he's typical and a player.

Luke maybe all that, but he's a sensitive side and is immediately attracted to London. But while these two flirt over time, London starts to figure out the connection between Luke and her friends--Mia, Lola and Harlow. And that makes London weary.

Wicked Sexy Liar is fun, angsty and steamy read. Christian Lauren knows how to suck you into a story that makes you want to root for the couple to get a HEA. Plus, getting to read about the other characters  is always a plus.

Blog Tour Stop: Some Sort of Love by Melanie Harlow

On the surface, I have it all—a career I adore, a loving family, the Nixon metabolism but not the Nixon ears, and a salary that supports my lavish taste in designer shoes, fine wine, and lacy lingerie…but I have no one to share it with.

Until the day I run into him—my one night stand from college with the cocky smile, let’s-get-out-of-here eyes, and dirty, dirty mouth.

Levi Brooks is six feet four inches of hot bearded fantasy. A sexy single dad with broad shoulders, strong hands, and a fantastically big…heart. (I mean, it’s massive. And generous. And it pumps so hard… um. Sorry. Lost my place.)

But he lives for his son, and he's keeping me at a distance because he thinks I deserve someone better—a man who can give me more time, more attention, more of himself. He doesn’t believe he could ever be enough.

But he's wrong.

He’s everything.

I can't get enough of this series. I love the Nixon sisters, they each have unique personalities and close as sisters can be. Jillian Nixon is the eldest. She's smart (a doctor!) and funny, but just too busy to find time to date. And despite all the talk from relatives about being the only Nixon girl not married off or knocked-up, she's determined not to let it bother her at her sister's wedding.

But when she unexpectedly runs into her a one-night stand from college, it all changes. Levi Brooks is what Jillian remembered to be. He's still hot and believe it or not, single. A single dad, in fact. Levi has been busy raising a son with special needs, and taking care of his number one priority has left Levi without a social life. And running into Jillian changes everything for both.

Jillian and Levi were perfect together, but actually getting together with each other was a constant road block. There time getting to know each other proved to be difficult and Levi felt Jillian could do so much better.

Some Sort of Love is fun, steamy, sweet and angsty read.
