Riven Knight (Tin Gypsy #2) by Devney Perry

Genevieve Daylee didn’t expect to be standing in front of a judge on her twenty-seventh birthday. But ever since her life became entangled with a former motorcycle gang, she’s learned not to expect anything but trouble.

Her mother, a woman she once admired and adored, is gone, leaving behind a trail of secrets and lies. She’s living in a tiny apartment above a garage owned by her brother, a man who loathes her very existence. And the father she met beside her mother’s grave is as much of a stranger as Isaiah Reynolds, the broken man with soulless eyes standing beside her in front of the judge.

Isaiah is her protector from the murderer at large in Clifton Forge. Though he’s more like a riven knight in dented armor than a prince on a white stallion. She knows next to nothing about him, other than he works as a mechanic. As of tonight, he’ll be sharing her bathroom.

And, according to the judge, Isaiah is now her husband.

4.5 Stars

Oh I loved this book. Genevieve and Isaiah are now my favorite couple in this series. Move over Dash and Bryce! The last book, Gypsy King, left me hanging and I couldn't wait for more. And Riven Knight answered all my questions, while it had me reading non-stop until the end!

Genevieve and Isaiah have a unique relationship - probably relationship is not the word to use for these two. They had a unique deal or better yet...secret.

Both of their lives changed because of the chaos of the former Tin Gypsy MC. Everything that Genevieve knew about her life all changed after her mother's murder and finding about her mother's other life in Clifton Forge, MT.  She suddenly finds herself with an instant new family - a father she never knew and brothers, who one is angry at her for no reason.

Isaiah moved to Clifton Forge to start his life over after serving time - all he wants to do is lay low and live life.  But it all changes when he rescues Genevieve and next thing they know - they are married. Two strangers, living together as husband and wife.

As these two learn to live and avoid each other, there is still the mystery of her mother's murder and a killer still on the loose. But as drama surrounds them, Isaiah and Genevieve find each other to be safe and comforting, but both afraid to act on it. Their relationship is  slow burn, but their chemistry is sweet and hot!

Riven Knight is full of mystery and shocking twist that I did not see coming (or want to believe). Your questions do get answered and you want nothing more than Isaiah and Genevieve to find their peace and happily ever after!

Read a sneak peek at Riven Knight.
