I can't get enough of this author's books! K.C. Lynn knows how to swoon you off the pages of your Kindle with her alpha/male characters. You just want to live inside the pages. Ultimate Sacrifice is the first book in the Men of Courage series and I'm already ready for more.
Zoey Anderson is just trying to get by in life by taking care of her sister, Chrissy. She works hard to make sure that her sister has the best medical care and has no time for romantic attraction towards a certain fireman. And that certain fireman is Austin Hawke (and I love that name!).
Austin and Zoey are friends, but when they take it further for one night, Austin can't get enough of his Zoey Girl. One night isn't enough going to be enough for him. But Zoey can't let her walls down when it comes to trusting others and pushes Austin away-- no matter how hard he tries and to take care of her and Chrissy.
Ultimate Sacrifice is sweet, romantic, heartwarming and breaking, with a bit of mystery. I'm ready for the next book in this series.
