Every Little Thing (Hart's Boardwalk #2) by Samantha Young

Hartwell, Delaware—the perfect place to get away from it all, and find what you never knew you needed…

Bailey Hartwell has many reasons to feel content—her successful business, a close circle of friends, and her steady boyfriend…even if their romance feels staid after ten years without a serious commitment. The only challenge in her life comes in the form of sexy businessman Vaughn Tremaine. She thinks the ex-New Yorker acts superior and that he considers her a small-town nobody. But when Bailey’s blindsided by a betrayal, she’s shocked to discover Vaughn is actually a decent guy.

Vaughn admires Bailey’s free spirit, independence, and loyalty. As his passion for her has grown, his antagonism toward her has only worsened. Every little thing Bailey does seduces him. But when Vaughn’s painful emotional past makes him walk away in fear he will hurt her, it opens an old wound in Bailey, and she uncharacteristically retreats.

Once Vaughn begins to realize he’s made the biggest mistake of his life, he has no choice but to fight like he’s never fought before to convince Bailey that the love they’ve found together only comes around once in a lifetime.

4.5 Stars This is my favorite book in the series and after finishing it, I just want  more! Ever since the first book, The One Real Thing, I wanted more of Bailey and Vaughn. Their dynamic couldn't have been any funnier and intense! Getting their story in Every Little Thing-- did not disappoint.

Bailey Hartwell is the darling of Hartwell's Boardwalk. She's passionate about keeping her family's bed and breakfast running like a well oiled machine and doesn't let anyone threaten her business. Doesn't matter how hot a man can be. And that's Vaughn Tremaine. And Vaughn is trying to find his footing in this small town and facing Bailey on a daily basis is proven hard for Vaughn to stay away from her.

The push and pull between these two characters is hot and when these two are in the same room sparks fly, but they use humor to deflect the attraction. But Vaughn can't stop himself from protecting Bailey after someone threatens her bed and breakfast. And the more time these two spend and less fighting, the attraction is beyond sexy.

Every Little Thing is so far my favorite. I loved Vaugh and Bailey, but seriously, now I want more. I'm flipping between Emery and that little surprise with Dahlia and her mystery man have me wanting her story too!
