Imagine her surprise when, on her first night in the Eternal City, she finds herself sitting across from Marcello Bianchi, her college study-abroad fling. Their whirlwind romance begins anew while Avery becomes immersed in the easy Roman lifestyle, rediscovering her love of art history, spending her days in museums and restoration studios, and her evenings with Marcello in her bed.
It’s bliss, until Marcello gets a job offer halfway around the world and asks Avery to go with him. Because she’s just gotten a offer to stay in Rome, and doesn’t want to choose a man over her career again.
A celebration of great friendship, passionate romance, and wonderful food, Roman Crazy is a lighthearted story of second chances and the sacrifices we sometimes need to make to live life to the fullest.

4 Roman Stars
Roman Crazy is a cute, funny and romantic read. Knowing that Ms. Clayton and Ms. Bocci were writing this book, I just knew it would be a hit.
The first line of this book had me laughing and it didn't stop till the very end. I'm a sucker for a book about heartbreak, moving on and finding love again--especially when it comes to second chances with your past.
Avery spent years being the perfect housewife and putting her own life and career on hold, while supporting her lawyer husband. But when she walks in on him, playing a little too nice on his office desk with his secretary--she's had enough! Off to Rome she goes.
Avery is in Rome with her best friend and trying to figure out who she is again. She misses her old life of being lost in the world of art and wants to find it again. But she doesn't only find that back, but ends up face-to-face with an old flame in Rome...Marcello.
Marcello was a college-abroad fling, but she never forgot how he made her feel. It's been nine years since she left him and never had contact, and Marcello hasn't forgotten. Hearts and promises were broken when Avery went back to America.
So it wasn't a happy reunion at first, but the attraction between the two never fizzled. Roman Crazy takes you Avery's self-discovery after her marriage fails. She finds opportunities to kick off an art career and also finds love a second time around from the man who always had her heart. I love this book and the characters and can't wait to read more.
About the Authors:
Alice
Clayton worked
in the cosmetics industry for over a decade before picking up a pen (read:
laptop). She enjoys gardening but not weeding, baking but not cleaning up, and
finally convinced her long-time boyfriend to marry her. And she finally got her
Bernese Mountain Dog.
Nina Bocci is a novelist,
publicist, eternal optimist, unabashed lipgloss enthusiast, constant apologist,
and a hopeless romanticist. She has too many college degrees that she’s not
using and a Lego addiction that she blames on her son.
