ARC Review: Dirty (Dive Bar #1) by Kylie Scott

The last thing Vaughan Hewson expects to find when he returns to his childhood home is a broken hearted bride in his shower, let alone the drama and chaos that comes with her.

Lydia Green doesn't know whether to burn down the church or sit and cry in a corner. Discovering the love of your life is having an affair on your wedding day is bad enough. Finding out it's with his best man is another thing all together. She narrowly escapes tying the knot and meets Vaughan only hours later.

Vaughan is the exact opposite of the picture perfect, respected businessman she thought she'd marry. This former musician-turned-bartender is rough around the edges and unsettled. But she already tried Mr. Right and discovered he's all wrong-maybe it's time to give Mr. Right Now a chance.

After all, what's wrong with getting dirty?

Dirty is a great start to another fantastic series by Ms. Scott. With every book, this author will guarantee to make you laugh, give you some steamy scenes with plenty of happy and angsty moments.

Lydia Green just want to find love and live happily ever after. And she thought she had it, but after discovering an intimate video between her soon-to-be husband and his best man, she takes off running on her wedding day and ends up in the shower, of Mr. Rock Star, Vaughan Hewson.

Vaughan is figuring out his music career and ends up back home. He's been avoiding the small town and his family for years, but when Lydia shows up in house, it all changes for him.

Lydia and Vaughn develop a friendship that turns into "benefits," but as far as Vaughn is concerned, it's only temporarily. He's ready to take off and to make it back in the music world. But Lydia is rethinking her life. She's made new friends and is enjoying her time in town, despite all the ex-fiance drama, she wants to stay. But her feeling for Vaughn deepens. And is he willing to stick around for Lydia?
