The ninth work in the New York Times and #1 internationally bestselling series that started with Beautiful Bastard. In this e-novella, Will Sumner and Hanna Bergstrom (from Beautiful Player) find that a wedding and everlasting love were just the beginning.
One Player tamed. One nerd girl satisfied. And one more major life decision to make. When Will fell for Hanna, her quirky sense of humor and fierce dedication to her career were part of the attraction. (Not to mention her coy newbie attitude toward sex and her willingness to let him teach her everything.) But when the job offers start rolling in for her—and oh, they do—Hanna has trouble deciding what she wants, where they should live, and how much she should burden Will with the decision. Magic between the sheets is only one part of a relationship...getting on the same page is quite another altogether.
Purchase Beautiful Boss on Amazon. Releases 2/29!

Will Sumner is back! I will admit, I love Will more than Bennett Ryan, so when this novella popped up on my Kindle, I couldn't wait to jump in.
Will and Hanna are back and cute as ever! They are ready to walk down the aisle together, but before all that, Hanna has been busy trying to figure out her career. She's been all over the country interviewing and knowing Will is willing to go wherever she lands, she thought she had it all mapped out.
Will and Hanna are my favorite Beautiful couple, so when they hit a couple of rough patches in this novella, my heart stop. But don't fear, it does work out in the end. All relationships aren't perfect and it just shows how Will and Hanna can overcome it all. Together.
Beautiful Boss has great scenes between the couple's friends--Bennett and Chloe, and Max and Stella! They all have a great time celebrating Will and Hanna's wedding. And of course, what Beautiful book is not without hot and make-you-blush scenes between our favorite couple! A great and quick read that gives you all the good feels!

Wait. What did I just read? That end. Brilliant. And I'm just going to leave that there!
My Abel Bear is back and ready to fight the world with Thia. As we all know what happened from Lawless-Bear steps up and takes the wrap for Thia's parents' murder. And we all know he didn't do it. He's just protecting his love, and also trying to figure out how to take down his old man, Chop.

There are people that you thought you could trust, but then it takes a turn and makes you think--"what the hell?" It's hard to write this review without any spoilers, so I'm just going to say I loved living in Bear and Thia's world. And that end...
Always hoping for more of King, Doe, Bear and Thia in future reads!

ARC Review: Set the Pace (The Detroit Love Duet #1) by Kim Karr
Every city needs a hero, but Detroit’s white knight just might be a villain.
A rough childhood branded Jasper Storm trouble. A bad boy. Not worth a damn. His love of cars was the only thing that could battle his delinquency. With the need for speed in his blood, he overcame his wayward ways. Mostly. All grown up, the broken city of Detroit hails him their shining star. And the man behind a new cutting-edge automobile is ready to turn this bankrupt town around.
Everything he does in life is fast. He talks fast, f*cks fast, and drives fast. But when one reckless turn brings him face-to-face with the childhood he has tried very hard to forget, he finds himself on the edge of wondering if he shouldn’t slow down.
Charlotte Lane was the tomboy who lived next door. She was his best friend. He was her protector. Then tragedy struck and she disappeared, forever—or so he thought.
Jasper has many reasons to hate Charlotte and keep his distance, but she’s infiltrating his every thought and he can’t stay away. Back in town with an agenda of her own, she should push him aside. Make him turn around. Walk away herself. Yet she can't.
With the past lurking between them, they proceed with caution. That is until one sex-filled night leads to murder. When Detroit’s biggest ally suddenly becomes suspect number one, will Charlotte—the girl Jasper once kept safe—be the one to save him?
4 stars
Set the Pace really gets the pace going as you read, this book is all about finding out the truth. But all the lies from the past and cover-ups makes it nearly impossible for these characters.
Jasper Storm and his best friends grew up together and on their way in making their dream comes true in the auto industry. But one night of partying changes it all.
Charlotte Lane was Jasper's childhood best friend. But when an accident happened and shooked the entire Motor City, it left Charlotte leaving behind her home and her best friend. This incident made her and her family and outcast and a lot of blame was on her family.
Now back years later, Charlotte is looking to clear her father and their name. But facing the city who does not forget it's going to be tough battle for her. And when she ends up facing her former best friends, anger and sparks fly. Jasper can't believe Charlotte is back and unsure of her agenda. And when a murder connects them both, they end up giving into their feelings, despite what friends and the city thinks.
Set the Pace is a real turn-pager. If you love a story about sex, lies, suspense...and murders, then this read is for you! Ms. Karr really knows how to keep the story going to keep you engage. And yes, the ending does have a cliffhanger (so this is your warning). I can't wait to find out the truth in the next book.

The hand-written sign near the valet reads, “Be back in 5 minutes.”
Even standing beside Jasper for five seconds seems to make my heart beat double time. Five minutes will send it flying off the chart.
Needing to calm down, I take a step away and move to stand in front of him. “You know I can take a cab home. I’ll be fine.”
That killer smile is just too much. “I’m a man of my word, Charlotte. I told you I’d make sure you get home safely and that’s exactly what I’m going to do.”
Heart still racing, I look up at him. He’s not like anyone I know, yet he’s so much like the Jasper I knew at eight years old. Without a second thought, I push the toe of my sandal against his shoe. It was something I did all the time when we were kids. “I don’t remember you being so bossy.”
Both of us feeling better, the heavy mood seems to have shifted between us to something a little lighter, and he raises a brow. “I’ve changed a lot over the past twenty years.”
Boy, he’s not kidding.
Chewing on the inside of my cheek, I want to respond with a yes, you have, but I don’t.
That seems too flirty.
Instead I stare at my once best friend. At the light and dark of his chocolate-brown hair that is more than perfect. Thick and glossy, he no longer wears it so much longer in the front that its bad habit of falling over his eyes is anything he has to worry about. Still, the way it sticks up in just the right places and allows for the perfect shape of his brows to be seen, his long, long eyelashes to be noticed, and the golden flecks in his eyes to mesmerize anyone they come in contact with, are all traits beyond perfection.
Oh God, my entire body tingles just looking at him. He has to be the sexiest man I’ve ever seen.
I shouldn’t be thinking this way.
Not about him.
And especially not after everything that has transpired today. This must be some kind of coping mechanism that I need to get under control.
Yet when he leans forward and his male scent assaults me, all of my sanity goes right out the window, along with my control.
Trouble.
Trouble.
Trouble.
In that moment his eyes capture mine, and for one second I think he’s going to kiss me. I tense. My pulse pounds as I wait with both desire and uncertainty. Wait for the brush of his mouth against mine. The wet slide of his tongue. The exhilaration of my fingers threading through that hair from his forehead all the way back to his neck. His stubble razor sharp against my soft flesh. His hands rough on my hips.
“Let me hold that for you,” he says.
Blinking rapidly, I realize he is reaching to take the bag from my hand and not to kiss me.
I should feel relieved.
I don’t.

ARC Review: A Reason To Live (Reason #3) by C.P. Smith
WARNING: Author believes in soul mates and insta-love, proceed with caution if you're not a romantic at heart.
Love's greatest cure is salvation of one’s soul.
Shane Sherman has a problem. Well, two, actually. One has auburn hair and pale-green eyes, and the other? . . . Is a secret. One he doesn't want to talk about. But all that changes when Sage comes to town.
Sage Sloan is being stalked. So she runs to Trails End and the bravest man her sister said she'd ever met. Sergeant Shane Sherman.
Sparks fly, tempers flare, and bears misbehave as Shane and Sage find a way to coexist in Trails End. That is, until a killer comes to call. Then all bets are off. Shane isn't about to lose his saving grace.
This is the third and final book in the Reason Series. I highly recommend you read books one and two before "A Reason To Live."

A Reason to Live is another great read in this series. As always, the men are fierce and protective over their women. And Sargent Shane Sherman is just one more hot, alpha male in the Reason series.
Shane has left the service feeling guilt and remorse after he believed failed his team. Particularly after a young girl who died under his watch. Sage Sloan is the sister of the slain solider and she's facing a problem. A stalker is harassing her. And the only person she believes can help her, is the bravest man that her sister knew--Shane.
When Sage finds Shane, he immediately pushes her away. Even though Shane finds Sage beautiful and attractive, but there is so much guilt and pain when he looks at her. With the help of Mia and Maxine (Max's mother--who is a total hoot!), they are determined to make Shane find happiness and they believe Sage is the one to do it.
A Reason to Live is full of mystery, laughs and plenty of hot scenes between these characters. Not only is this a hot romance, it keeps you on the edge of who is stalking Sage.

ARC Review: Blizzard (The Brotherhood Journals) by Addison Jane
For Blizzard, the feeling of betrayal was one he knew well.
His father was a long-time member of the Brothers by Blood MC. He believed the brotherhood came first, even before his wife and child. At first Blizzard didn't even blame his mother for walking out on them. That was until he learned that she’d hooked up with a member of another MC, leaving him behind to deal with the aftermath.
He never thought he would feel that kind of pain again, swearing that his back would never again see the blade of another knife. That was until Rose came along, tempting him, drawing him in and then leaving him on the sidewalk, fighting for his life as she walked away with the enemy.
Rose had spent her whole life wondering where she’d come from.
Her mother had always kept that information to herself, taking it with her to the grave. She was determined to know her history and her father but soon found it wasn't the reunion she’d hoped for. She may have escaped the hands of a madman, but the family she’d been left with still didn't fill the void she had inside.
Rose had made many mistakes, hurting people who cared for her and destroying herself in the process. She was heading down a dark road and returning to the town where she lost herself—and her heart—was never part of the plan. When given the opportunity for redemption and with nothing left to lose she was about to throw herself back into hell. But karma against her, this time there might not be anyone coming to her rescue.
They say time heals all wounds, but time is running out. Could you forgive and forget if it meant the difference between life and death?
4.5 stars
I couldn't get enough of this book, let alone this entire series. At the end of Chelsea, I just wanted to know what was going to happen to Blizzard after the betrayal and hurt that was caused by Rose.
Rose is back and looking for forgiveness and she knows it's not going to be easy after she betrayed the Brothers of Blood MC. She knows she hurt and damaged a lot of people, including her ex-roommate, Chelsea and the man that she began to fall for, Blizzard. But Rose was living in a life that was controlled by her family. She was confused and just looking to do the right thing for her family (or that she thought it was right!).
Rose finds herself back with the Brothers of Blood to help them with an undercover job and the danger that she puts herself can be deadly. Blizzard acts like he doesn't care what happens to Rose, but there something about her and their connection he can't stop caring for her.
As Rose finds herself deep undercover, she ends up getting close to little Jayla (loved this girl!) and Blizzard. As much as she wants to prove how sorry she is, she has a hard time breaking through with him at first.
This book is filled with plenty to twists and turns and always leaves you hanging for more. I loved reading about Prez Optimus and Chelsea and their little girl in this book and looking forward to the next book!

Excerpt Reveal: Soulless (King #4) by T.M. Frazier
"I'll deal with you when we get back to the
house," Bear snapped, his words loaded with so many different meanings I
trembled with both fear and anticipation.
"You're going to deal
with me?" I asked. "How are you going to deal with me?" My attitude and confidence faded with each word
until the last was merely a whisper.
"Yes, DEAL with you," Bear warned, suddenly
pausing to take in my appearance. Slowly, from top to bottom, like he’d only
just realized I was standing there. His eyelids hung heavy over his sapphire
blues as he licked my body with his eyes, drinking me in like he was
thirsty.
No, not thirsty.
Hungry.
When he licked his lips I could have sworn he was about to
eat me alive. I tingled all over. The awareness of him in such close proximity
after so long washed over me. Angry or
not, my body didn’t care. I didn’t care. I wanted to reach out and touch his face,
reassure him that he had no reason to be angry, but part of me liked that I
could draw that kind of reaction from him.
He came alive when he was pissed, and something inside me loved that he
became this primal possessive beast out to remind me who it was I belonged
to.
Bear clenched his
jaw and the muscles in his neck tensed and strained. He looked as if he were
ready to either kill or fuck. All I knew
was that, one way or another, I was about to de devoured.
I pressed my thighs together, trying to manage the pulsing
between my legs, but the contact only ignited it further. Bear chuckled and
glanced down to where my ankles were crossed. He closed the gap between us in
two short strides, taking me off guard. I stumbled backward, tripping over a
lose rock in the road. he reached out and roughly grabbed my arm before I could
fall, pulling me flush into his hard chest. His warm skin radiated through my
thin dress. I bit my lip, suppressing a moan. My legs grew weaker and weaker as
he lowered his head, inching closer and closer, until I was sure his lips were
going to meet mine, when without warning he released my arm and spun away.
"Get in the fucking truck, Ti," he called back to me.
I stood there, unable to move, and trying to catch my
breath while he headed over to King’s truck like that moment never passed
between us. When he noticed I wasn’t behind him he growled and stalked back
over to me. He grabbed me by the waist, his fingers digging into my skin. He lifted me up, my short dress bunching up
over my butt cheeks and slung me over his shoulder like I was a rolled up rug.
Wack.
He slapped my ass with his open palm. Hard. The bite of
the smack stung where I was sure he’d left his mark. He tossed me into the
truck with a caveman grunt and slammed the door behind me.
I was confused as all hell.
I was so angry.
I was also elated.
I was in lust so hard that I was in physical pain.
I was really fucking angry.
I was head over heels in love.
Motherfucker.

Release Day: Jock Blocked (Gridiron #2) by Jen Frederick
She’s always played it safe…
College junior Lucy Washington abides by one rule—avoid risk at all costs. She’s cautious in every aspect of her life, from her health, to her mock trial team, to the boring guys she dates. When a brash, gorgeous jock walks into the campus coffeeshop and turns his flirt on, Lucy is stunned by the force of attraction. For the first time ever, she’s willing to step out of her comfort zone, but can she really trust the guy who’s determined to sweep her off her feet?
He’s always played around…
Entering his last year of college eligibility, linebacker Matthew "Matty" Iverson has the team captaincy in his sights. And it’s his for the taking, if he can convince his quarterback Ace Anderson to give up the starting position. Luckily, Matty already has an edge—the hottie he’s lusting over just happens to be Ace’s childhood best friend. Getting Lucy on his side and in his bed? Hell yeah. Matty is more than confident he can have both, but when he falls hard for Lucy, it’s time for a new game plan: convince the woman of his dreams that she’s not sleeping with the enemy.

This title just cracks me up! And I have to say Jock Blocked is my favorite so far in this series (even though it's book two!).
I grab her foot and pull it into my lap. “Let’s do a risk/reward test.”
“Let’s not.” But her foot doesn’t move.
I massage her foot beneath the sock, pressing hard against the ball and then digging into the arch. She releases a tiny moan and her head falls back in a dick-hardening sexy motion. Fuuuuck. If this is how I feel from just touching this girl’s hand and foot, what would it be like to be between her legs, to suck on her tits, to feel her pussy pulse around my dick? Light-headed and incredibly aroused, I almost fall off the chair.
I gotta focus here. If I’m ever going to get past the foot and hand, I need to convince her that the reward with me would be off-the-charts amazing.
Clearing my throat, I keep rubbing her foot. “Having your foot in my lap, that’s a risk right? But you’re enjoying the rubdown. That’s a risk worth the reward.”
“Keep rubbing and stop talking,” she orders. Her eyes are closed.
Okay, but I’m not touching some other guy’s sock, particularly the guy whose bed she’s sleeping in. I don’t know if I fully buy into her “just friends” explanation for Ace. He has her picture in his locker. She’s wearing his socks. For all that, he’s at the Gas Station dry humping a Kappa and Lucy’s home alone. I pull off the sock and toss it aside and stare at her toes.
“Your nail polish is blue.” Since when did I think toes were sexy?
She wriggles them. “Yes, on both feet. You’re very observant. Haven’t you ever seen a girl’s toes before?”
“I’m sure I have.” I just don’t remember them. I have this strange feeling I’ll remember hers, though.
I run a light caress over the anklebone, down the spine of the Achilles tendon, and around the edge of her instep.
Her breathing hitches, so quiet and so soft, I might have imagined it.
“What’re you doing?” Her words are a husky whisper and my body responds accordingly.
My balls tighten and my dick’s so hard I’m worried it’ll snap in half, but I can’t reach into my jeans to readjust or I’ll scare her away.
“We’re testing your risk assessment.” And driving myself crazy.
“You should stop.”
“I can’t.” I move my hand up her ankle to cup the slender calf. “Feel good? Worth the risk?”
“I’m not sure.”
That’s an invitation if I ever heard one.
Is it possible to come from just rubbing a girl’s leg? I might test out that theory. “And now?” My fingers find the tender hollow behind her knee. Her pulse beats rapidly against my palm. She’s as turned on as I am and I haven’t even gotten to the good parts.
“It feels riskier,” she croaks.
Yeah, because pretty soon my hand is going to be on your thigh and I don’t know how I’m going to stop there.
Her fingers are turning white as she grips the sides of her chair. Is she holding herself back? Or keeping herself there?
Fuck, I want to kiss her so bad. I want to kiss her lips but I’d settle for her toes or her knee or‑shit, if all she’ll allow is for me to touch the tips of her fingers, I’d be okay with that. I need a taste of her. I’m dying for a taste of her.
