Oh Xander Wilde! I thought I loved his brother River, but Xander comes very close in the running. I think Mended is my favorite so far in the series. Not only do we get Xander's story, but we get plenty of his brother, River and Dahlia too in the book!
Mended begins with Xander and Ivy's first love romance back in high school. They were perfect together, but with family drama and when tragedy strikes; it tears them apart. Secrets, lies and betrayal keeps them apart for twelve years. And during their time apart, they both fell into successful music careers.
Destined to meet again, Ivy and Xander were reunited and thrown to go on tour together. But there is a problem...Ivy is engaged (to a creepy, controlling music mogul) and not only is that an issue; old wounds and unresolved misunderstanding still remain between them.
Trying to make working together work, they both try to remain friends, but their love and attraction is still there after all these years. During their time together there is plenty of hurt and secrets between the two. But plenty of hot chemistry!
Mended is a great story about first love and second chances! It has a perfect blend of angst, suspense and lots of sexiness!
