365 Days by Blanka Lipinska

PRE-ORDER: Amazon Kindle | Apple Books | B&N Nook | Books-a-Million

Now a hit Netflix film!

The sexy and deeply romantic internationally bestselling novel that inspired the blockbuster movie.

Laura Biel and her boyfriend are on a dream vacation in beautiful Sicily. On the second day of their trip, her twenty-ninth birthday, she is kidnapped. Her kidnapper is none other than the head of a powerful Sicilian crime family, the incredibly handsome, young Don Massimo Torricelli, who is determined to possess her at all costs. Massimo has his reasons. During an earlier attempt on his life, a vision appeared before his eyes: a beautiful woman, identical to Laura. After surviving the attack, he vows that he will find the woman in his vision and make her his own. No matter what.

For 365 days, Massimo will keep Laura captive in his palatial estate and attempt to win her heart. If she doesn’t fall in love with him during this time, he will let her go. But if she tries to escape at any point, he will track her down and kill her entire family.

Soon Laura develops a fascination with her handsome and powerful captor. But as a precarious, risky relationship forms between them, forces outside their control threaten to tear them apart...

4 Stars

Let's say start by saying this movie version on Netflix is hot, and I loved it. I've been waiting for the English version of this book forever and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to read and it was just as HOT as the film.

365 Days is steamy, sexy and just OMG with the characters. You couldn't help yourself to hate, but love Massimo Torricelli. He's dangerous, rich, rough, and a criminal, but can be oh so sweet to Laura.

As you know, he kidnaps Laura and give her 365 days to fall for him and if it doesn't work out, he will let her leave. Sure, it sounds terrible and awful, but Laura has free reign of her life. Laura is not a meek and mousy character - she's sassy, independent and knows how to push Massimo's buttons! That is what I loved about her - she didn't cower from him.

Shipped by Angie Hockman

Between taking night classes for her MBA and her demanding day job at a cruise line, marketing manager Henley Evans barely has time for herself, let alone family, friends, or dating. But when she’s shortlisted for the promotion of her dreams, all her sacrifices finally seem worth it.

The only problem? Graeme Crawford-Collins, the remote social media manager and the bane of her existence, is also up for the position. Although they’ve never met in person, their epic email battles are the stuff of office legend.

Their boss tasks each of them with drafting a proposal on how to boost bookings in the Galápagos—best proposal wins the promotion. There’s just one catch: they have to go on a company cruise to the Galápagos Islands...together. But when the two meet on the ship, Henley is shocked to discover that the real Graeme is nothing like she imagined. As they explore the Islands together, she soon finds the line between loathing and liking thinner than a postcard.

With her career dreams in her sights and a growing attraction to the competition, Henley begins questioning her life choices. Because what’s the point of working all the time if you never actually live?

4 Stars!

Such a cute book! This is the first book from this new author and I'm a fan. Shipped is a great rom-com, weekend read. It had the elements of a book that doesn't make you put it down - humor, sweetness, chemistry and overall loveable characters.

Henley and Graeme are characters who have chemistry from the beginning. Henley has been working her tail off and wanting to land a Director position within her cruise line company. There are two things standing in her way: her chauvinistic boss and Graeme Crawford-Collins, the social media manager, at her company. He may be handsome and sexy, but her impressions of him, has Henley determined to win the promotion over him.

Their boss sends them to the Galápagos to propose the best digital marketing plan and whoever has the best proposal wins the promotion. This trip takes a wild and fun turn for these two and they begin to figure out who they really are. And does the promotion really mean that much more than their relationship?

Again, Shipped is a quick and fun read and makes me want to head to the Galápagos right now!

Forsaken Trail (Runaway #4) by Devney Perry

Aria Saint-James has planned the perfect getaway: sweatpants, takeout and two weeks alone with her sister and nephew. Nowhere on that list is wearing a low-cut dress and uncomfortable heels to attend a wedding where she knows neither the bride nor the groom. Toss in her nemesis, Brody Carmichael, and her road trip to Arizona is officially a bust.

But at least there is champagne.

She blames the bubbly for falling into bed with Brody that night. Enemy or no, the billionaire is irresistible in a tux. But after their one-night tryst, Aria has no choice but to cut her vacation short, returning home to escape his devilish smile, vowing never to see Brody again.

Except Aria gets a surprise a few weeks later—she’s pregnant. When he learns that she’s carrying his child, Brody offers Aria the chance of a lifetime. The catch? She has to live under his roof until the baby is born.

Either they’ll kill each other in nine months. Or discover love buried beneath their hate.

Aria gave me a small smile, but as we took another step, it changed.
Twisted. The fire in her gaze sparked even brighter. The mischievous
woman whose words cut like a Samurai sword was ready for the show.

Her hand let go of my arm to slide down the sleeve of my tux jacket.
Aria laced her fingers with mine as her other hand snaked up my chest.
She inched so close that her scent, floral and sweet, filled my nose.

That intoxicating smell scrambled my brain and I couldn’t tear
my eyes away from the curls in her shiny hair. I wanted to
twist them around my fingers, then take the strands in my fist and—

What. The. Fuck.

This was Aria. A woman who openly admitted she hated me
the way I hated her. An enemy. My assistant’s sister.

There’d be no fisting of her hair. No licking of her lips. No nibbling of her ears.

4 Stars

Another great read in the Runaway series! Forsaken Trail, probably is my favorite one so far (but I'm sure I said that about the last three books in this series). If you are a fan of enemy - turned - accidentally pregnancy - turned - lovers, then this book is for you! Oh, don't forget to throw in a sexy, wealthy and stubborn man!

Aria Saint-James has been living her life in Oregon - content. She loves her job working with flower and plants, has an unbreakable bond with her twin sister, Clara, and nephew, but there is something lacking in her life.

Brody Carmichael, is her twin's boss and good friend. But he happens to be Aria's nemesis. She's thankful for everything he's done for Clara and her son, but she can't stand the arrogant man. And when she ends of doing her sister a favor, she entire life changes in one night.

You guessed it - Aria is pregnant with Brody's child.

Their story is all opposite attracts and opening themselves up to each other. As much as these two dislike each other, their chemistry and attraction was always there. Their story will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions,
as these two navigate upcoming parenthood and feelings for each other. Broday and Aria learn from each other and ultimately make each other better.

Up next is Clara's story and honestly I can't wait until she makes it to Cali!

Dream Chaser (Dream Team #2) by Kristen Ashley

In this steamy, addictive contemporary romance spinning off the New York Times bestselling Dream Man and Rock Chick series, Ryn Jansen must put her trust in the one man she wants -- and the one man she can't let herself have.

Ryn Jansen has no interest in taking a risk on Boone Sadler. Thanks to a long list of men who've done nothing but let her down, Ryn vows to stay far away from the caring, protective commando. And when Boone confronts Ryn with evidence that her loved ones are conning her, Ryn is less than thrilled -- with her family and Boone. But even as Boone proves he's the kind of guy to meet her every need, she doesn't trust him to stay when life gets hard . . .

Boone Sadler's never been one to back down from a challenge. He's determined to show the funny, sexy Ryn that the irresistible connection between them is worth exploring. But caring for Ryn's heart and body becomes a matter of life and death when Ryn's beloved niece and nephew are put in danger and dirty cops begin gunning for Ryn. Soon Boone realizes their romance is in danger of more than heartbreak -- and to have any future together, they'll have to put their trust in each other.

4 Stars

I love this book and series, it gives me all the Hot Bunch and Rock Chick vibes. But now, it's the Dream Team and they couldn't get into more crazy trouble and have their men help save the day!

Dream Chaser has all the Kristen Ashley throwbacks - the usual funny, romantic , steamy and feel-good story in a book. And don't forget the ultra alpha male and Boone Sadler is all that!  Boone is determined to win and charm over Ryn. Ryn finds herself putting her family first and those who don't give in return. But Boone is determined to change that and show her that she deserves it all for working hard and having a caring heart.

But bossy and sexy Boone is the last thing Ryn needs in her life - she knows that if she has something good, it will eventually leave and leave her heartbroken. Not only is Boone trying to break her walls down, but someone is also trying to hurt her and that's when Boone is determined to protect Ryn.
